Tulasi Prasad is the President and the 3rd generation school leader of SRI RAMARURAL ACADEMY (located in a Rural hamlet Chilumuru, Guntur Dt, A.P), one of the first residential schools in AP and Telangana states established by his grand father in 1949. He holds Master degree (M.Tech) in Electronics and Instrumentation from NIT, Warangal. A school leader, advocacy influencer and a good orator serving in many prestigious positions in different associations and organizations of educational initiatives focused on improving the quality of education since 1986.

His willingness and desire to learn and innovate to improve the quality standard of school education gave him the opportunity to travel to different countries like Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, Netherlands, France, Spain, Hongkong, Cambodia, Srilanka, England , Bhutan, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sweden, Georgia and Germany and use the learnings in improving the quality of budget private schools.

He is one of the 4 invitees from India to a 12day Education workshop in Germany in November 2018. He served for 2 consecutive terms as the president for Jana Vignana Vedika, Guntur district with many other laurels to his name.

He is a recipient of awards from 5 different governors of different states of India.

Sri Rama got the distinction of being recognized as a Sainik School for the academic year 2025-26 by Ministry of Defense, Government of India, one among 124 Sainik Schools across India.

He believes that the collective wisdom of the society and practices of different stakeholders in education play key role to improve the quality of education, thus leading to a systemic transformation of future-ready citizens and the country.
